Study on Differential Strategy against The Emotions, Self-Efficacy and Stress in Dependent on College Student's Personality Priority

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the personality priority type using Korean version of Adler'sPersonality Priority Test established by Adler's Personality Priority Test developed by Taylor and Ray(2012). For our study, 436 college students who lived in Seoul and Chung-nam area had beenparticipated. On basis of the collected data, multivariate analysis of variance(MANOVA) was performed toconfirm whether the alteration of main variable occurred in dependent on the reliability analysis, thecorrelation analysis and the 4 type of personality priorities(pleasure, government, superiority and comfort)Asa result, a positive emotion in dependent on the personality priority showed that a superiority wassignificantly higher than a comfort. Also, a superiority, a pleasure and government were significantly higherthan a comfort under the strategy that considering problem as the key factor. A superiority and pleasurewas significantly higher than a comfort under the strategy that considering the social support important.The general self-efficacy in dependent on the personality priority showed that a superiority was significantlyhigher than a pleasure, a government and comfort. Sequentially, a pleasure, was higher than a comport.The social self-efficacy showed that a superiority was significantly higher than a pleasure, a governmentand comfort. Our study can accelerate the effectiveness in psychological counseling and education afterdistinguishing the characterization of personality type using Adler's Personality Priority Test.
