The literature review of research concerning Korean children's creativity

Abstract

This study investigated the trend of creativity research from 1980 to 2003. 412 master's and doctoral theses were reviewed in terms of relating variables(research themes), research subjects, research methods, and scales. The results showed that the most constantly visited themes in creativity research are the method and intermediator for children's creativity education and the development of creativity program. The main subjects in creativity research are preschoolers. Experimental methodology is the most frequently used methodology in creativity research, while Brief Creativity test, TTCT, and K-CCTYC are frequently used.
